SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kenneth P. Miller of Woodstock, who passed away on April 22, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller was born in Chicago to Paul and Hilda (Bauermann) Miller on August 4, 1936; he served in the United States Army from 1958 until 1962 as part of an armored division stationed in Germany and Fort Knox, Kentucky; he married Corinne Clesen in Arlington Heights on June 19, 1959; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller worked for Country Financial for 30 years as a Claims Adjuster in McHenry, Lake, and Boone Counties; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller enjoyed working on his computer, organizing family photos and doing genealogy; he loved his dogs, Mitzi and Sparky; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Mary and Arthur Clesen; and an infant daughter, Michelle; and

WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller is survived by his wife of 56 years, Corinne; his son, Brett Miller; his daughter, Laura Gorski; his three granddaughters, Amanda, Madeline, and Grace Gorski; his brother, Chuck (Tina) Miller; and his sister, Caroline (Carl) Davis; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kenneth P. Miller, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kenneth Miller as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
