| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Frances B. Petric of Mequon, Wisconsin, | 4 | | who passed away on April 17, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Frances Petric was born in Waukegan to Frank and | 6 | | Jennie (Jeray) Musich on February 12, 1917; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Frances Petric was a homemaker and an avid baker, | 8 | | often baking potica and cookies for family, friends, and church | 9 | | functions; she was a kind and cheerful mother and grandmother | 10 | | who always put her children's interests ahead of her own; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Frances Petric was a member of St. Mary of the | 12 | | Annunciation Church in Mundelein and a longtime member of the | 13 | | former Mother of God Church in Waukegan; she was active in both | 14 | | churches and was a member of St. Anne's Lodge in Waukegan; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Frances Petric was preceded in death by her | 16 | | parents; her loving husband of 58 years, Frank; her two | 17 | | sisters, Jeanne and Amelia; and her brothers, Frank, Albert, | 18 | | and William; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Frances Petric is survived by her sons, Jim | 20 | | (Karen) and Gary (Debbie); her daughter, Janet (Jim) Spoerke; |

| 1 | | her six grandchildren, Steven (Mary Kathryn), Sara (Dan), Nick, | 2 | | Katrina, Lauren, and Dan; her great-grandchild, Jonathan; and | 3 | | her brother, Joseph (Virginia) Musick; therefore, be it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | Frances B. Petric, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 7 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 8 | | further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Frances Petric as an expression of | 11 | | our deepest sympathy.
