SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John "Johnny Angel" Norris, who passed away on April 13, 2016; and

WHEREAS, John Norris was born on November 9, 1945 in Chicago; his parents were John and Virginia Norris; he married Jennifer Neuman on January 18, 1992 in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, John Norris proudly served in the United States Army Reserve; and

WHEREAS, John Norris lived in River Grove before settling in Antioch in 1991; he had worked as a Business Agent and was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 73 for over 46 years until his retirement in 2006; and

WHEREAS, John Norris is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Jennifer; his daughters, Christine and Kim; his stepson, Eric (Karin Moore) Neuman; his sisters, Judy (Ralph) Henrich and Margaret Rajski; his mother-in-law, Marge Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Wade (Sally) Johnson and David (Dora) Johnson; his adoring grandchildren, Abigail and Wyatt Flade; and many nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of John "Johnny Angel" Norris; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Norris as an expression of our sympathy.
