SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Gwen L. Radovich of Woodstock, who passed
4away on March 17, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gwen Radovich was born in Chicago to E.B. and Anne
6(Nelson) Otis on February 23, 1935; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Gwen Radovich was a server at Martinetti's
8restaurant and the Turnberry Country Club; she was also a bus
9driver for the Special Education District of McHenery County
10for 13 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Gwen Radovich was a longtime member of Immanuel
12Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake; she was an avid horse lover
13and devoted Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan; she loved rural
14living with her brothers and family as neighbors her entire
15life; her true joy was the time she spent with her eight
16grandchildren; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Gwen Radovich was preceded in death by her husband
18of 53 years, Marvin; her brother, Duane Otis; and her parents;
19and
 
20    WHEREAS, Gwen Radovich is survived by her children,

1Bradley, Brian (Jean), Amy (Robert) Tegel, and Linnette Koepke;
2her grandchildren, Alexander, Thomas, Matthew, Jenny, Andrew,
3Erik, Brian, and Emily; her great-grandson, Adam Marvin Glover;
4her brothers, James (Elaine) Otis and Robert (Elaine) Otis; her
5sister-in-law, Rita Otis; her daughter-in-law, Ellen Radovich;
6her five nieces; and her two nephews; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Gwen L. Radovich, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Gwen Radovich as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
