SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Linda Sue McGuire of rural Carrollton, who passed away on March 22, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Linda McGuire was born on August 31, 1945 in Carrollton; her parents were Zoda and Marjorie Becker Richter; she married Robert Bruce McGuire on May 2, 1964 in Carrollton; and

WHEREAS, Linda McGuire was a member of the Our Redeemer Church in Carrollton; and

WHEREAS, Linda McGuire enjoyed painting and drawing; and

WHEREAS, Linda McGuire was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and

WHEREAS, Linda McGuire is survived by her children, Kris McGuire and Robin Meyer (companion, Lamar Stapleton); her grandchildren, Colt Nathanial and Skyler Zo Meyer; her sister, Judy (Daryl) Riechmann; and her brother, Jerry (Norma) Richter; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Linda Sue McGuire; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Linda McGuire as an expression of our sympathy.
