SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William L. Brown of Gillespie, who passed away on March 28, 2016; and

WHEREAS, William Brown was born on January 26, 1936 in Mount Clare; his parents were William Brown and Emma Jane Brown; and

WHEREAS, William Brown retired as a laborer for Laclede Steel Mill after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, William Brown was a member of the Progressive Club in Wilsonville; he enjoyed wrestling, bingo, and sports; and

WHEREAS, William Brown was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, William Brown is survived by his brothers, Norman Brown, Donald (Kathy) Brown, and Robert (Debra) Brown; his sisters, Patty Frensko, Mary Ann (Walt) Goode, Margaret (Mike) Paddock, and Nancy (Kent) Bearden; his uncle, Robert (Mary Lou) Brown; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of William L. Brown; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William Brown as an expression of our sympathy.
