SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Myron L. Aper of New Holland, who passed away on March 2, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Myron Aper was born in Lincoln to Fred H. and Mary Aper on January 27, 1942; he married Suzanne E. Blaum in New Holland on June 16, 1963; and

WHEREAS, Myron Aper retired from Xamis Ford, and his love for Ford cars and trucks made him an excellent salesman; he was a past member of the New Holland Fire Department; and

WHEREAS, Myron Aper was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of New Holland; he was an avid Chicago Cubs fan; he enjoyed gardening and was an active outdoorsman; he also enjoyed woodworking and making homemade wine; and

WHEREAS, Myron Aper was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Chance; his brother, Kenny; and his sister, Kathy; and

WHEREAS, Myron Aper is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his daughter, Teresa (Otis) Tripplett; his son, Tim Aper; his siblings, Myrna Aper, Arlene (Jim) Hauk, and Floyd (Gail) Aper; his 5 grandchildren, Bret, Destiny, Nicole, Leslie, and Brandon; and his eight great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Myron L. Aper, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Myron Aper as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
