SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Olga Elizabeth Grasser of Woodstock, who passed away on February 17, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Olga Grasser was born on February 8, 1925 in Woodstock; her parents were Arvid L. and Matilda (nee Lienow) Nelson; she married Francis "Fritz" Grasser on December 8, 1945 in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Olga Grasser worked as a dental assistant and receptionist at Dr. Duddleston's Woodstock office for many years; and

WHEREAS, Olga Grasser was a member at Grace Lutheran Church in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Olga Grasser loved to garden, especially growing roses; and

WHEREAS, Olga Grasser was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her son, Gary John; and

WHEREAS, Olga Grasser is survived by a son, James N. Grasser; her daughter, Susan E. Gall; and her grandchildren, Cynthia, Michael, Christopher Gall, Jamie (Jeffrey) Fox, and Andrew Grasser; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Olga Elizabeth Grasser; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Olga Grasser as an expression of our sympathy.
