SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Walter "Wally" Macrowski of Gurnee, who passed away on January 26, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Walter Macrowski was born on October 6, 1919 in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Walter Macrowski was a World War II veteran; and

WHEREAS, Walter Macrowski was a barber in North Chicago for many years; he was also a prolific wood carver; and

WHEREAS, Walter Macrowski was preceded in death by his wife, Emily (nee Rygiel); his parents, Julius and Lucy Macrowski, his sisters, Isabelle and Lorraine; and his brothers, Chester and Henry; and

WHEREAS, Walter Macrowski is survived by his children, Judith and James (Valerie), his grandchildren, Stephen (Diane), Sarah, and Lynn; and his brother, Ted; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Walter "Wally" Macrowski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Walter Macrowski as an expression of our sympathy.
