SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Randolph S. "Randy" Minich of Marengo, who passed away on December 5, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Randy Minich was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 19, 1960 to Larry Minich and Doris "Joann" (nee Grimmett) Scott; he graduated from Dundee Crowne High School in 1978 and enlisted in the United States Army in 1982, serving as an Army Combat Medic; and

WHEREAS, Randy Minich moved to Marengo in 1989 and worked as a butcher at Wisteds for 10 years; he then worked for Omni Commercial as a Union Laborer, retiring in 2015; and

WHEREAS, Randy Minich is survived by his wife, Laura (nee McAuly) Minich; his daughter, Alexandra Minich; his son, Joshua Minich; his stepson, Luke Brandt; his parents, Larry Minich and Joann Scott; his brothers, Rory and Larry John Minich; and his sister, Laura Jacobs; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Randolph S. "Randy" Minich, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Randy Minich as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
