SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Timothy Kerber Letten, who passed away on December 2, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Letten was born on April 14, 1993; his parents were Bruce and Lauretta Letten; he spent his life in Deerfield, where he attended Holy Cross School, Shepard Middle School, and was a graduate of Deerfield High School, Class of 2011; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Letten was involved in Boy Scouts, the Concert Band, where he played the alto sax, and served as a Eucharistic Minister at his church; he was a talented swimmer from a young age and a member of the Deerfield High School varsity swimming and water polo teams; he also helped establish the Deerfield High School Sailing Club; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Letten was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Reising; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Letten is survived by his parents; his brothers, Matthew, Michael, and James; his grandparents, Nicholas and Barbara Letten and Geraldine Reising; and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Timothy Kerber Letten; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Timothy Letten as an expression of our sympathy.
