SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Antony Paul Rowland of Rock Island, who passed away on November 12, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Paul Rowland was born in Cornwall, England on May 5, 1957 to Monica Elizabeth Sjoholm and George Rowland; he immigrated to the United States as a small child; he served in the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Paul Rowland worked as a subcontractor, repairing and renewing apartment buildings; and

WHEREAS, Paul Rowland is survived by his mother, Monica Elizabeth Sjoholm; his father, George Rowland; and his daughter, Brittany Lee; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Antony Paul Rowland, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Paul Rowland as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
