SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Rose C. Verga of McHenry, who passed away on November 2, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Rose Verga was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on July 8, 1947 to Joseph and Josephine Cammarata Verga; and

WHEREAS, Rose Verga worked as a food server at the Cozy Cottage family restaurant in Volo for over 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Rose Verga was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and loved old western movies and T.V. shows; and

WHEREAS, Rose Verga is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 11 years, Frank Adams; her sister, Mary Verga; and Joe Ernest; and

WHEREAS, Rose Verga is survived by her 3 sisters, Jennie Verga, Kathy (Joseph) Purtell, and Anna (Ron) Looze; her 2 brothers, Sam (Roseann) Verga and Joseph (Melissa) Verga; her 4 nieces, Mary, Meghan, Rachel, and Michelle; her 4 nephews, Nicholas, Joey, Jr., Christopher, and Michael; her aunt, Judith Cammarata; her great-nieces, nephews, and cousins; her companion, Richard Ernest; her special friends, Virginia, Sue, Karen, and Candy; and many other loving friends and family; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Rose C. Verga, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rose Verga as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
