SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sandra Jean Turner of McHenry, who passed
4away on September 14, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sandra Turner was born on October 30, 1942 in
6Chicago; her parents were Walter E. and Mary R. (nee Geary)
7Mayer; she married Zelmer M. Turner on August 20, 1960; she was
8raised in Chicago and lived in Lisle and Crystal Lake; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Sandra Turner was a purchasing agent at Gearmaster
10for 25 years and served as a preschool teacher at the First
11Baptist Church in McHenry for 3 years; she was also an office
12manager at Concord Tool & Die for 6 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Sandra Turner loved spending time with her family,
14especially her grandchildren; she was an avid bowler; she also
15enjoyed poker, pinochle, Sudoku, cribbage, and crossword
16puzzles; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Sandra Turner is survived by her husband, Zelmer;
18her children, Deb (Rich) Steege, Diana (Jack, Jr.) Winger,
19Ronald Turner, Randy Turner, and Donna (Larry) Kenyon; her
20grandchildren, Kenneth, Ashley, Bradley, Michael, Hunter,
21Catie, Eric, Connor, Alyssa, Troy, A.J., and Ian; her

1great-grandchildren, Leanna and Timmy; her sister, Linda
2(George) Gutmann; and her brothers, Gerald (Nancy) Mayer and
3Hank (Lois) Mayer; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Sandra Jean Turner;
7and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Sandra Turner as an expression of
10our sympathy.
