SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ronald G. Wittlief of Marengo, who passed away on September 30, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Wittlief was born on April 14, 1949 in Belvidere; his parents were George and Verna (nee Hinz) Wittlief; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Wittlief served as a member of the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Wittlief attended Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Marengo Community High School; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Wittlief was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Wittlief is survived by his brother, Rich (Jean) Wittlief; his 2 nieces; his nephew; and his 3 grand-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Ronald G. Wittlief; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ronald Wittlief as an expression of our sympathy.
