SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Charlie AuBuchon, who passed away on September 22, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Charlie AuBuchon was born on February 24, 1951 in Bradford, Pennsylvania; he was a resident of Vernon Hills for the past 36 years; and

WHEREAS, Charlie AuBuchon was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights and Northern Illinois University; and

WHEREAS, Charlie AuBuchon was employed in advertising at Abbott Laboratories for over 30 years until his retirement in 2011; and

WHEREAS, Charlie AuBuchon was an active member of St. Mary of Vernon Parish, the PADS organization at his church, and the Ministry of Care; and

WHEREAS, Charlie AuBuchon enjoyed photography, golf, traveling, biking, and hiking through National Parks; and

WHEREAS, Charlie AuBuchon was preceded in death by his wife, Georgianne, and his father, William AuBuchon; and

WHEREAS, Charlie AuBuchon is survived by his children, Brad (Kim) AuBuchon and Jenny (fiance, John Dierolf) AuBuchon; his grandsons, Elliott and Russell; his mother, Mary AuBuchon; his sisters, Mimi (Pat) Triplett and Patricia Geniesse; and his brother, Bill (Judy) AuBuchon; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Charlie AuBuchon; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charlie AuBuchon as an expression of our sympathy.
