SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

820 ILCS 130/1.5 new

Amends the Prevailing Wage Act. Provides that the Department of Labor shall administer this Act. Provides that the Department shall adopt rules necessary to effectuate the purposes of this Act.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended by adding Section 1.5 as follows:

(820 ILCS 130/1.5 new)

Sec. 1.5. Administration and rulemaking authority. The Department of Labor shall administer this Act. The Department shall adopt rules necessary to effectuate the purposes of this Act.
