HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the members of the Hinsdale 10U All Stars on the occasion of winning the Little League Baseball 9-10 Year Old State Championship in River Forest; and

WHEREAS, After winning its previous 4 games entering the title game and outscoring its opponents 73-15, the Hinsdale 10U All Stars defeated Moline 22-2 to win the Little League Baseball 9-10 Year Old State Championship on August 6, 2015 in River Forest; the team completed its All Star season with a perfect 11-0 record; and

WHEREAS, The team's victory marks Hinsdale's second State championship at the 10U level in the last 3 years; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Hinsdale 10U All Stars are Aiden Schackart, Lucas Smith, Grant Davis, Reece Kolke, Max Williams, Max Merlo, Ben Oosterbaan, Andreas Waelter, Evan Phillips, Emerson Eck, Joe Boggs, and Zach Hayes; the team's coaches are Ric Phillips, Anthony Waelter, Jim Smith, and Richard Eck; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Hinsdale 10U All Stars serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Hinsdale 10U All Stars on the occasion of winning the Little League Baseball 9-10 Year Old State Championship and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Hinsdale 10U All Stars as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
