HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the
4Dee-Mack girls volleyball team on the occasion of their
5remarkable 2014-2015 season, finishing with a record of 36 wins
6and 3 losses, and winning a first place State title; and
 
7    WHEREAS, The team had a successful season with several
8impressive highlights, including 2nd place in the Central
9Illinois Traveling Tournament, 2nd place at the Pekin
10Invitational, 1st place at the Reed-Custer Invitational, and
112nd place at the HOIC Volleyball Conference Tournament; and
 
12    WHEREAS, The team was undefeated and became conference
13champions with a 12-0 record; the team finished their season
14with a Class 2A State Championship; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Brandon Mueller is the team's head coach and
16Kelsey Hough is the team's Assistant Coach; and
 
17    WHEREAS, The members of the team include Maranda Schaley,
18Mikayla Seibert, Lauren Anderson, Maddie McGinnes, Kaleigh
19Krause, Caitlynn Whitaker, Kara Rich, Jenny Rickett, Kenzie
20Rhodes, Isabella Gruse, Lydia Weigand, Macey Peterson, Addie
21Patton, Chelsea Pawlak, and Kathleen Creager; and

1    WHEREAS, The Dee-Mack girls volleyball team is a model for
2success, setting team records and showing their strong moral
3character; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
5NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
6congratulate the members of the Dee-Mack girls volleyball team
7on the occasion of their successful 2014-2015 season and State
8Championship, and wish them great success in the future; and be
9it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the Dee-Mack players and their coaches as a symbol
12of our esteem and respect.
