HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Jonathan McEnery of Troop 34 in Staunton on the occasion of obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America; and

WHEREAS, To show his leadership skills and his worthiness for the rank of Eagle Scout, Jonathan McEnery led an extensive project to create and install fish habitats and duck habitats at Staunton Lake; he also made changes to the City of Staunton Rules sign at the lake and installed a new sign on the grounds; his project will benefit both the wildlife of the lake and those who visit the lake; and

WHEREAS, Jonathan McEnery went before the Eagle Board and was granted his rank on October 11, 2016, joining the ranks of the few who obtain the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Jonathan McEnery serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Jonathan McEnery on the occasion of obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Jonathan McEnery as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
