HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the members of the Wheaton Warrenville South High School Tigers girls golf team on the occasion of winning the 2016 IHSA Class AA Girls Golf Team Championship; and

WHEREAS, The Wheaton Warrenville South Tigers received five scores of 78 or better and achieved a seven-shot victory (605-612) to win the IHSA Class AA Girls Golf Team Championship; and

WHEREAS, This victory is the first State title to be won by any Wheaton Warrenville South High School girls athletic program; their second-round score of 307 was the lowest ever recorded at the State tournament for a girls golf team; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Wheaton Warrenville South Tigers are Sarah Hauenstein, Hadley Moritz, Priya Desai, Annalee Danneger, Emma Field, and Olivia Rojas; they are coached by Art Tang; and

WHEREAS, The Wheaton Warrenville South Tigers serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Wheaton Warrenville South High School Tigers girls golf team on the occasion of winning the 2016 IHSA Class AA Girls Golf Team Championship and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Wheaton Warrenville South Tigers as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
