1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Macy Trejo on the occasion
4 of becoming a State Officer of the Family, Career, and
5 Community Leaders of America (FCCLA); and

6     WHEREAS, Macy Trejo was born on October 20, 1999; her
7 parents are Efrain and Treva Trejo; she has one sibling, Gage
8 Mendenhall; and

9     WHEREAS, Macy Trejo is the first State Officer of the
10 Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America to come from
11 Arcola High School since the 1970s; and

12     WHEREAS, Macy Trejo plans to attend Parkland Community
13 College in Champaign to complete general education courses; she
14 is unsure of her future major, but has many interests,
15 including oncology; and

16     WHEREAS, Macy Trejo enjoys being an active FCCLA member and
17 spending time with her family and friends; and

18     WHEREAS, Macy Trejo serves as a model of hard work,
19 integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of
20 Illinois; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
2 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
3 congratulate Macy Trejo on the occasion of becoming a State
4 Officer of the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America
5 and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and
6 be it further

7     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8 presented to Macy Trejo as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
