HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Kathy Harris on the occasion of her retirement as President of Lincoln Trail College; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Harris is retiring after spending 35 years at Lincoln Trail College and serving as President of Lincoln Trail College since 2013; and

WHEREAS, During her time at Lincoln Trail College, Kathy Harris has served as an instructor of education, physical education, and speech; she also served as a coach for women's basketball and softball, athletic director, pool manager, academic advisor, Student Senate sponsor, and Dean of Instructors; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Kathy Harris on the occasion of her retirement and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Kathy Harris as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
