HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Stephen Wakeman of
4Boy Scout Troop 151 in Algonquin on achieving the coveted rank
5of Eagle Scout; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Stephen Wakeman was born in Arlington Heights to
7parents Elizabeth and Raymond Wakeman on August 22, 1997; they
8now reside in Lake in the Hills in McHenry County; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Stephen Wakeman has displayed the needed
10leadership traits to earn this most prestigious rank:
11Trustworthiness, Loyalty, Helpfulness, Friendliness,
12Courteousness, Kindness, Obedience, Cheerfulness, Thriftiness,
13Bravery, Cleanliness, and Reverence; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Stephen Wakeman made a lasting improvement to the
15community of Lake in the Hills by constructing 32 Baggo Boards
16for permanent use at the Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset
17Festival, a project which will save the Village of Lake in the
18Hills at least $350 per year in costs for the festival; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Stephen Wakeman's Eagle project was approved by a
20local Eagle Board of Review on November 12, 2015; and

1    WHEREAS, Stephen Wakeman will be honored at his Eagle Court
2of Honor on May 29, 2016 at Light of Christ Church in
3Algonquin; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Stephen Wakeman serves as a model of hard work,
5integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of
6Illinois; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
9congratulate Stephen Wakeman on achieving the rank of Eagle
10Scout and we wish this extraordinary young man continued
11success and happiness in the future; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to Stephen Wakeman as a symbol of our respect and
14esteem.
