HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Alexander John Daniel on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America; and

WHEREAS, Alexander Daniel is a member of Troop 297 of the Pathway to Adventure Council; and

WHEREAS, Alexander Daniel has earned 43 merit badges and has served his troop in a variety of leadership roles; and

WHEREAS, Alexander Daniel's Eagle Scout community service project was to improve the commemorative area at Liberty Elementary School in Bartlett by building two cobblestone benches and adding landscaping that included stepping stones, bushes, and wood chips; and

WHEREAS, Alexander Daniel is the son of David and Sara Daniel; he will be graduating from Hoffman Estates High School and plans to attend Harper College in the fall; and

WHEREAS, Alexander Daniel devotes much of his time to helping his community and is a role model to all; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Alexander John Daniel on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Alexander Daniel as an expression of our esteem and respect.
