SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

15 ILCS 405/27 new

Amends the State Comptroller Act. Requires the State Comptroller to establish on its official website an easily accessible portal that lists tax credit issuance data for projects undertaken by businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Requires the Office of the Comptroller to update the portal each State business day.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The State Comptroller Act is amended by adding Section 27 as follows:

(15 ILCS 405/27 new)

Sec. 27. Tax credit portal. The State Comptroller shall, within 12 months of the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 99th General Assembly, establish on its official website an easily accessible portal that lists tax credit issuance data for projects undertaken by businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations. After the tax credit portal is established, the Office of the Comptroller shall update the portal each State business day.
