Amends the Open Parole Hearings Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the finality of board decisions.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning criminal law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Open Parole Hearings Act is amended by changing Section 20 as follows:

(730 ILCS 105/20) (from Ch. 38, par. 1670)

Sec. 20. Finality of Board decisions. A Board decision concerning parole or aftercare release, or parole or aftercare release revocation shall be final at the the time the decision is delivered to the inmate, subject to any rehearing granted under Board rules.
