SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Leslie M. Reger of Tinley Park, who passed away on January 12, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Leslie Reger was born on September 26, 1963; she graduated from and received her teaching certificate from Governors State University; and

WHEREAS, Leslie Reger taught school at St. Ann Catholic School in Lansing and worked as a phlebotomist at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey for 17 years; she was serving as a religious education teacher at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Tinley Park at the time of her passing; and

WHEREAS, Leslie Reger devoted herself full time as a loving mother to her children; she was very involved with the PTO and other volunteer organizations at her children's schools; and

WHEREAS, Leslie Reger was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth "Mace" Mazgaj; and

WHEREAS, Leslie Reger is survived by her husband, Kevin; her children, Courtney O'neill, Claire "C.J." Reger, Christopher Reger, Jennifer Reger, and Caitlyn Reger; her mother, Joanne Mazgaj; and her sister, Julie (Michael) Caffarini; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Leslie M. Reger; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Leslie Reger as an expression of our sympathy.
