1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Floyd Henson
4 Junior High School Girls basketball team, the Lady Pups, on
5 winning the Class L Southern Illinois Junior High School
6 Athletic Association State Championship and to congratulate
7 them on an outstanding season record of 21-3; and

8     WHEREAS, The Coach of the Lady Pups is Greg Schafer; the
9 Assistant Coach is Jim Jennings; and

10     WHEREAS, The members of the team are: Bailey Pearce,
11 Allison Carder, Jessica Eaton, Shelby Koehler, Inanna Weller,
12 Deandra Burgess, Kelsey Krutsinger, Caitlyn Hall, Jessica
13 Leib, Samantha Yancy, Crimson Jones, and Ciara Herring;
14 therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
17 we congratulate the Floyd Henson Junior High School Girls
18 basketball team, the Lady Pups, on their great season and
19 impressive State championship victory; and be it further

20     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to Coach Greg Schafer and the Floyd Henson Lady Pups
