HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Bill and Sue Bell on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell were married on June 24, 1961; and

WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell both graduated from Northwestern Illinois University and remain loyal Wildcat fans; and

WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell both served as Park Ridge Aldermen and have helped shape the future of Park Ridge; and

WHEREAS, Sue Bell served as a Legislative Aid to Representative Rosemary Mulligan and remains a proud supporter; and

WHEREAS, In addition to serving as Park Ridge Alderman, Bill Bell has served as a Maine Township Trustee and a member of the School District 64 Board and is currently serving on the Board of the Maine Center for Mental Health; he also served in the United States Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell will celebrate this momentous occasion with their children, Lisa, Julie, Becky, and David, with the hope of many more years filled with laughter and love; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Bill and Sue Bell on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and wish them continued happiness for years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Bill and Sue Bell as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
