SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eloy Salazar of Mundelein, who passed away on January 24, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Eloy Salazar was born in Des Plaines to Aurora and Eduardo Salazar on August 26, 1951; and

WHEREAS, Eloy Salazar was preceded in death by his brother, Eduardo; and

WHEREAS, Eloy Salazar is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elva; his children, Elizabeth (Gustavo Sandoval) Salazar, Eloy (Melissa) Salazar, and Erick (Lisa) Salazar; his grandchildren, Isabela Sandoval, Anthony Salazar, Kathryn Salazar, Santiago Sandoval, Phoebe Salazar, and Charles Salazar; and his siblings, Irma, Gerardo, Noela, Adrian, Alonzo, Mary, and Oscar; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Eloy Salazar and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eloy Salazar as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
