SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of David L. Enrietta of Virden, who passed away on October 28, 2018; and

WHEREAS, David Enrietta was born in Springfield to Frank and Isabell (Ovington) Enrietta on August 29, 1950; he graduated from Virden High School in 1968 and served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; he married Mary Kay Blankenship in Virden on September 12, 1980; and

WHEREAS, David Enrietta worked as a warehouseman for Altorfer in Springfield for over 35 years; and

WHEREAS, David Enrietta is survived by his wife, Mary Kay; his daughter, Mary Jane Enrietta; his sons, Tony (Jen), Justin, and Nick Enrietta; his grandchildren, Maggie (Bryan) Huff and David, Cash, Jacqueline, Presley, and Lennon Enrietta; his great-grandchildren, Isabella, Bentley, and Dylan Huff; his sister, Marilyn Croft; his brother, Larry Enrietta; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of David L. Enrietta and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of David Enrietta as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
