1 SENATE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Veronica C. Welsh, who passed away on
4 February 25, 2018; and

5     WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh was born in Moline to August and
6 Alice (Timmerman) Caes on May 3, 1942; she was united in
7 marriage to Charles "Chuck" Welsh for 41 years; and

8     WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh embraced her faith, enjoyed
9 homemaking and loved her family; and

10     WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh was preceded in death by her
11 husband, Chuck; and

12     WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh is survived by her children,
13 Michelle (Steve) Lentz, David (Shannon) Welsh, John (Kathy)
14 Welsh, and Michael (Carolin) Welsh; and her 19 grandchildren;
15 therefore, be it

16     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
17 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
18 Veronica C. Welsh and extend our sincere condolences to her
19 family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
20 further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the family of Veronica Welsh as an expression of
3 our deepest sympathy.
