SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy "Dot" Rohrberg of El Paso, who passed away on March 24, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Rohrberg was born to Frank and Dorothy Irene (Hadley) Dunn on December 16, 1934 and raised by her grandparents, Josephine and Vern Hadley; she married Donald Rohrberg in Lafayette, Indiana; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Rohrberg was active with the Republican Party for many years; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Rohrberg was an avid card player with several card groups; pinochle was her favorite; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Rohrberg was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and her brother, Buddy; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Rohrberg is survived by her her son, Dan Rohrberg; her daughter, Dana (Mike) Bray; her sister, Sally (Chuck) Blanchard; her granddaughter, Allison (Eric) Veenendaal; her special friends, the Dick and Nancy Jones family; and many nieces and nephews, including Bill (Madeline) VanKeuren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dorothy "Dot" Rohrberg, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dorothy Rohrberg as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
