SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Randall Raabe, who passed away on February 3, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Randall Raabe was born on August 13, 1954 in Chicago; his parents were Arthur and Marian (nee Sondergaard) Raabe; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Randall Raabe touched many lives for over 30 years treating patients at his dental practice; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Randall Raabe enjoyed spending time at his parents' house in Montello, Wisconsin, fishing with his son, his brother, and his father; he also enjoyed having breakfast with his daughter when he visited her in Chicago and spending time with his granddaughters; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Randall Raabe is survived by his son, Adam (Melissa); his daughter, Joanna; his grandchildren, Siena and Aria; his brother, Jeffrey (Patti); and his dearest friend, Michelle Gottwald; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Dr. Randall Raabe; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dr. Randall Raabe as an expression of our sympathy.
