SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Barbara McDonald of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on February 22, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Barbara McDonald was born on February 14, 1927 in
6Ohio; her parents were Helen Zollars and Terrence Firman; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Barbara McDonald was a 30-year employee of Oak
8Industries and a 20-plus year employee as a cashier at Walmart
9in Crystal Lake before retiring at the age of 84; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Barbara McDonald enjoyed crocheting, gardening,
11and camping; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Barbara McDonald was preceded in death by her
13parents; her husband, Thomas McDonald; her sisters, Francis,
14Janet, and Judy; and her former husband, Ronald Cassell; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Barbara McDonald is survived by her children,
16Debralee (Richard) Houston, Linda (John) Wilhelm, Tina (Glen)
17Kastilahn, Scott McDonald, and Lisa (Richard) Buhr; her
18grandchildren, Michelle (Steve) Hoyt, Christina (Kieran)
19Hartnett, Michael Houston, John (Karyn) Terry, Justin (Cole)
20Wilhelm, Jenny Wilhelm, Lindsey (Joe) McEvilly, Taylor

1Kastilahn, Karli Kastilahn, Joshua Buhr, and Michael Buhr; her
2great-grandchildren, A.J., Jada, Jaxon, Piper, Layla, and
3Hadley; and her sisters, Sandy, Daunita, and Belinda;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Barbara McDonald; and
8be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Barbara McDonald as an expression of
11our sympathy.
