SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Nicholas "Nick" Angelopulos, Jr. of
4Winthrop Harbor, who passed away on December 27, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Nicholas Angelopulos, Jr. was born on June 17,
61947 in Waukegan; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Nicholas Angelopulos, Jr. served his country as a
8member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Nicholas Angelopulos, Jr. retired from Wonder
10Bread in Waukegan after many years of service; he subsequently
11went to work at Bass Pro Shop in Gurnee; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Nicholas Angelopulos, Jr. was preceded in death by
13his mother, Laura Angelopulos; his mother-in-law, Betty
14Mitchell Poore; his father-in-law, Clyde T. Poore; and his
15brother-in-law, Randy Poore; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Nicholas Angelopulos, Jr. is survived by his wife,
17Diane Poore Angelopulos; his children, Christopher G. (Karla)
18Angelopulos, Jonathan C. (Toby) Angelopulos, and Jason N.
19Angelopulos; his grandchildren, Orion, Bailee, Inakai, Kaelan,
20Briahna, Logan, and Jace Angelopulos and Danielle and Jessica

1Cole; his father, Nicholas Angelopulos, Sr.; his sister, Connie
2(Dave Williams) Blackford; his nephew, Jim Blackford; and his
3nieces, Lori Beth Serokusek and Dawn Miller; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Nicholas "Nick"
7Angelopulos, Jr.; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Nicholas Angelopulos, Jr. as an
10expression of our sympathy.
