SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Raymond J. Roberts, who passed away on February 2, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Roberts was born on July 13, 1929 in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Roberts was a graduate of Northwestern University; and

WHEREAS, Raymond was employed as an executive at Coilcraft Inc. for over 50 years; and

WHEREAS, Raymond Roberts was the beloved husband of Elyse Meredith for 56 years; the loving father of 2 children; the grandfather of 5; and the great-grandfather of 2; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Raymond J. Roberts; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Raymond Roberts as an expression of our sympathy.
