SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Darlene Robinson of Alton, who passed
4away on January 28, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Darlene Robinson was born in Alton on October 24,
61958 to Christopher Robinson, Sr. and Pattie Mae (nee Hutchins)
7Herron; she graduated from Alton Senior High School in 1976;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Darlene Robinson worked at St. Joseph Hospital as
10a Certified Nursing Assistant and later became a home
11healthcare provider; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Darlene Robinson enjoyed being around family and
13friends, playing cards, and giving the neighborhood kids a ride
14on her hover round; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Darlene Robinson was preceded in death by her
16parents; her brothers, William Herron, Sr., Carl Herron, Sr.,
17and Maurice Herron; her sisters, Ethel Mclemore and Sharron
18Terry; her sister-in-law, Patricia Herron; and her
19brother-in-law, Samuel Morgan, Sr.; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Darlene Robinson is survived by her daughter,

1Willie Mae Boyd; her sisters, Joyce Morgan, Gloria Winn, Brenda
2(Larry) Beard, and Melva Gordon; her brother, Christopher
3(Leslie) Robinson; her sisters-in-law, Marie and Zora Herron;
4her aunt, Jeannette Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews,
5cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Darlene Robinson, and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Darlene Robinson as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
