SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Patricia Lorsbach of Godfrey, who passed
4away on January 7, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Patricia Lorsbach was born on December 26, 1933 in
6Chicago; her parents were Robert Baine and Catherine Maloney;
7she married John Lorsbach on June 6, 1959 at St. Luke's
8Catholic Church; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Patricia Lorsbach was a teacher at St. Mary's and
10St. Ambrose Catholic Church; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Patricia Lorsbach was an avid St. Louis Cardinals
12fan who only missed 2 home opening games in more than 20 years;
13she also enjoyed poetry, teaching, Barkley Lake, Panera Bread,
14coffee and tea, and spending time with her family and students;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, Patricia Lorsbach was preceded in death by her
17parents and her husband, John; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Patricia Lorsbach is survived by her children and
19their spouses, Ann and Phillip Duckworth, Mary and John
20Ackermann, Greg and Jill Lorsbach, Margaret and Michael

1Johnson, Clare and Craig Clancy, and Susan and Jim Schmitz; her
2grandchildren, P.J., Josh, Matt, Hilary, and Melanie
3Duckworth, Nathan and Lucas Ackermann, Korby and Jacob Piel,
4Jack Lorsbach, Mackenzie, Molly, and Maura Johnson, Noah and
5Riley Clancy, and Katie and John Michael Schmitz; her sister
6and her spouse, Cathy and Don Coleman; her brothers, Bob and
7Maureen Baine, Larry and Elizabeth Baine, and Dick and Betty
8Baine; and her sister-in-law, Joyce Lorsbach; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
11family and friends, mourn the passing of Patricia Lorsbach; and
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Patricia Lorsbach as an expression
15of our sympathy.
