SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Grace Frances Annarella of Fox Lake, who
4passed away on December 25, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Grace Annarella was born on August 30, 1931 in
6Chicago to Mathias and Grace (nee Hutchinson) Hofmann; she
7married Rocco Annarella on July 22, 1950 in Valparaiso,
8Indiana; she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of
9Education degrees at Northeastern University; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Grace Annarella taught for Woodstock District 200
11and McHenry School District 15; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Grace Annarella always enjoyed the Christmas
13holiday and loved being outdoors and fishing; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Grace Annarella was preceded in death by her
15sister, Shirley Ann and her brother, George; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Grace Annarella is survived by her husband, Rocco;
17her children, Theresa (Mark) Williams, James (Kathleen)
18Annarella, Joseph (JoAnn) Annarella, Mary (Donald) Bernasek,
19Karen (David) Janssen, Laurie (the late Thomas) Cheseney, Carol
20(David) Marino, Melissa (Richard) Wick, and John (Nicole)

1Annarella; her 21 grandchildren; her 25 great-grandchildren;
2her sisters, Mary Margaret (Robert) Brown and Christine (David)
3Bennet; and her brothers, James (Mary Lou) Crosby and John
4(Karen) Crosby; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Grace Frances Annarella, and extend our sincere condolences to
8her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Grace Annarella as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
