SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Janet M. Grabner, who passed away on
4November 19, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Janet Grabner was born on August 27, 1933 in St.
6Louis, Missouri; her parents were Clarence and Clara (nee
7Abelin) Simon; she married Kenneth Grabner on October 29, 1955
8in St. Louis, Missouri; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Janet Grabner was a dedicated wife to her husband
10of 58 years and a loving mother and grandmother; she also
11volunteered at St. Patrick's School in Alton and St. Joseph's
12Hospital; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Janet Grabner was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
14Church in Alton; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Janet Grabner was preceded in death by her parents
16and her sister, Marilyn McCarthy; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Janet Grabner is survived by her husband, Kenneth;
18her children and their spouses, Mary and Tom Bunce, Kenneth,
19Jr. and Pat Grabner, Brian and Kathy Grabner, Walter and
20Deborah Grabner, Jeff and Christine Grabner, and David and

1Stephanie Grabner, her grandchildren, Beth, Matthew, Taylor,
2Hayden, and Nick Grabner, Christina Reed, Megan Bunce, and
3Wayne, Jimmy, and Chris Price; and her sister, Barbara Simon;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Janet M. Grabner; and
8be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Janet Grabner as an expression of
11our sympathy.
