SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Frances H. (nee Marolt) Ogrin of Waukegan, who passed away on October 21, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Frances Ogrin retired from Fansteel, Inc. in Waukegan after many years of employment; and

WHEREAS, Frances Ogrin was a long-time member of the former Mother of God Parish in Waukegan (currently Queen of Peace in North Chicago) and a lifetime member of St. Mary's Kranjsko-Slovenska Katoliska Jednota Lodge #79; and

WHEREAS, Frances Ogrin was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her sisters, Helen Mesec, Josephine Stritar, and Jennie Seliskar; and her brothers, Louis Marolt, John Marolt, and Edward Marolt; and

WHEREAS, Frances Ogrin is survived by her nieces and nephews, Helen "Pinky" (Sam) Cameli, Joyce (Joe) Ptasienski, Gail (Don) Wegrzyn, Kathy (the late Jules) Ptasienski, Lou (Sandy) Marolt, and Gary (Sue) Marolt; and her sister-in-law, Barb (the late Ed) Marolt; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Frances H. Ogrin; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frances Ogrin as an expression of our sympathy.
