SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Annette Louise Brogan of McHenry, who passed away on October 22, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Annette Brogan was born on August 16, 1934 in Chicago; her parents were Frank and Winifred (nee Sternola) DiLeonardo; she married William Brogan on October 6, 1956; and

WHEREAS, Annette Brogan worked in the hospitality industry in and around McHenry County; she was also well known as a wonderful cook and homemaker; and

WHEREAS, Annette Brogan enjoyed reading her Bible and attending Bible studies; and

WHEREAS, Annette Brogan was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; and

WHEREAS, Annette Brogan is survived by her sons, William (Deborah) Brogan and Francesca (Michael) Brogan; her grandchildren, Sean (Kelly), Shanna, and Caitlin Brogan; and her sisters, Marie (Christopher) Hickey and Lorraine DiLeonardo; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Annette Louise Brogan; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Annette Brogan as an expression of our sympathy.
