SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Teresa J. Mazza, who passed away on September 25, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Teresa Mazza was born in Libby; she married David Mazza on October 8, 1988; and

WHEREAS, Teresa Mazza graduated from Libby High School in 1983; she later earned her Bachelor's Degree from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana; and

WHEREAS, Teresa Mazza was employed at the YKK zipper company for many years; and

WHEREAS, Teresa Mazza enjoyed traveling, participating in church activities, and watching her sons' swimming and diving competitions; and

WHEREAS, Teresa Mazza is preceded in death by her mother, Linda (nee Clawson) Carr; and

WHEREAS, Teresa Mazza is survived by her father, Delbert (Kathy Drake) Carr; her sons, Daniel Dean Mazza and Robert Kaylor Mazza; her sisters, Penny (Frank) Kyes and Wendy (Joe) Chopyak; and her many nephews and nieces; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Teresa J. Mazza; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Teresa Mazza as an expression of our sympathy.
