SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Patricia G. Orloff of McHenry, who passed away on September 15, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff was born on July 18, 1941 in Breckenridge, Minnesota; her parents were Gordon and Grace (nee Mariam) Williams; she married Michael G. Orloff on April 21, 1985 in Algonquin; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff worked as a real estate agent since 1981; she began her career with Bruce Realty in Algonquin; she later served as comptroller and as an agent for Harding Real Estate in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff was an avid antique collector and a member of the McHenry Garden Club; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra McAllister; her parents; her stepfather, Edward Thennis; and her brother, Richard; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Jason (Sindy) Jordahl, Jenifer (William) Adeszko, Linda (Chris) Gibson, and Karen (Ken) Siffrar; her 9 grandchildren; her sister, Julie (Dennis) Jerger; and her brother, Warren (Mary) Williams; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Patricia G. Orloff; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Patricia Orloff as an expression of our sympathy.
