SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Larry Walter Cabine; and

WHEREAS, Larry Cabine was born on April 24, 1948 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas; his parents were Ethel Cabine and the late Walter Cabine; and

WHEREAS, In 1959, Larry Cabine moved to North Chicago with his brother, Frankie, and his sister, Bettie; he graduated from North Chicago Community High School in 1967; and

WHEREAS, Larry Cabine accepted the Lord at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Porter; and

WHEREAS, Larry Cabine is survived by his mother, Ethel Cabine; his son, Kenya; his daughter, Joy Rice; his wife, Rosa Maxine; his brother, Frankie Bashir (Althea); his sister, Bettie Maultsby (Juan P.); his special cousin, Stan Guydon (Janet); his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law; his grandchildren, Jaaron, Jalani, Xena, Xaria, and Count; and his many nephews, nieces, cousins, and special friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Larry Walter Cabine; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Larry Cabine as an expression of our sympathy.
