SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Rudolph Morris of Waukegan, who passed away on August 15, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris was born on November 23, 1923 in Waukegan and remained a resident of Waukegan throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris served his country as a member of the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris worked at the Smelters Refinery in Waukegan until his retirement; he was also a former caddie and groundskeeper at Knollwood and Onwentsia Country Clubs; and

WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Charles Brown; and

WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris is survived by his wife, Patricia Morris; his children, Nancy Thomas, David Morris, and Sally Brown; his grandchildren, Claudia, Matthew, Cindy, David, Bobbie Jo, and Kim; and his great-grandchildren, Delaney and Donovan; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Rudolph Morris; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rudolph Morris as an expression of our sympathy.
