SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Armand J. Rossi of Gurnee, who passed away on August 14, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Armand Rossi was born on September 27, 1925 in Kenosha, Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, Armand Rossi served his country as a member of the United States Navy during World War II; and

WHEREAS, Armand Rossi enjoyed watching and betting on sports and playing his accordion in bands over the last 60 years; and

WHEREAS, Armand Rossi was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley; his parents, Arturo and Amelia; and his brother, John Rossi; and

WHEREAS, Armand Rossi is survived by his children, David (Katy) Rossi and Donna Glusic; his grandsons, Chris and Ryan Glusic; and his granddaughter, Natalie Rossi; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Armand J. Rossi; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Armand Rossi as an expression of our sympathy.
