SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Barbara A. Schmiege of McHenry, who passed away on July 31, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Schmiege was born on August 20, 1946, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Clement C. and Mary Eleanor (Crowley) Schmiege; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Schmiege worked for the Family Service and Community Mental Health Center in McHenry; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Schmiege enjoyed spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Schmiege was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Schmiege is survived by her siblings, Robert (Jane) Schmiege, Mary Rocker, Patricia Schmiege, and David (Karen) Schmiege; and by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Barbara A. Schmiege, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Barbara Schmiege as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
